Owner filed a complaint against me and my friends stating we had too many people staying at the house although we clearly didn’t. He tried to charge us a late fee for checking out a few mins late after the house keeper allowed us. After checking out we went to the local park to have a bbq lunch but we were approached by security who told us the owner evicted us from the house (which is lie) and that we weren’t allowed to stay at their park. We were targeted because of our race and skin color. Me and my friends wanted to have a good time and we never did anything wrong. We complied with all the house rules and left it very clean. This was the worst vacation experience I’ve ever had and I hope Vacasa does not continue to do business with that home owner any more. I called Vacasa and requested to file a complaint. My complaint was not taken serious and the supervisor told me he would follow up with me which he never did.

Our family stayed at a home in Manson for 5 days. Upon arrival the home was not clean. We found an old water bottle under a coffee table and floss sticks. Nightstands were dusty, baseboards had heavy dust and dirt on them. Cobwebs all over the house. We spent part of our day dusting and removing the webs. The jetted tub had black mold on the jets. We went to the store and actually purchased cleaner to get rid of the mold/grime. The hot tub was not maintained. It had a funny smell. Upon our second day the owner stopped by to check on us and we told him about the hot tub. He was very responsive to our concern and got the issue taken care of immediately. But he also stated that this maintenance should be done by Vacasa routinely. The tub was not properly chlorinated. One of our kids contracted hot tub rash from the poorly maintained tub. For the money we paid, plus the level of cleanliness expected during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was abysmal.

UPDATE (in response to owners reply): You DID ask us to leave the property! Both you and the owner of the home asked us to leave, even though we did NOTHING wrong. I will post photos of text screenshots that I took while there, showing both Vacasa and the homeowner telling us to leave, halfway through our vacation. UNBELIEVABLE that you would ask us to leave, and then lie about it now. Also, we were NEVER given ANY information whatsoever about the quality of the water. I can't believe you're still saying it wasn't sewage! It was NOT lake water, it was the septic system overflowing up out of the tank. ONE OF YOUR OWN EMPLOYEES CAME TO LOOK AT THE PROBLEM AND SAID IT WAS SEWAGE AND IT HAD HAPPENED BEFORE. You're a despicable liar. Original review: We recently stayed at a Vacasa rental in Chelan, and were VERY disappointed with the response from Andrea at Vacasa. There was raw sewage spilling up out of the ground from the septic system, and when we called to try to get the issue resolved, we were told it was irrigation water. I took several photos and videos of the sewage and sent them to Andrea and told her how absolutely horrible it smelled, that it was DEFINITELY sewage. She responded again that it was just irrigation water and there was nothing that needed to be done. When I pressed this issue (because it was very apparent to all of us staying there that it was sewage), she ASKED US TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY!! Instead of taking us seriously and having someone come out to see if it was actually sewage, she literally told us to leave. I've never experienced such unprofessional behavior from a rental company. We've come to Chelan almost every summer for the last 15 years, and this was a first. I will never use Vacasa again to book a property.

This a recent review of a property managed by this compay. This quaint rebuilt travel trailer placed on this water-front property is everything you want for a vacation as long as you don’t look at the trailer or expect to sleep with basic safety equipment knowing you’ll wake alive in the morning. The Good – the landscaping, lawn, view, decorations and deck is amazing. The Bad – Everything else, including sunrise to sunset construction. 1. No smoke detectors or working carbon monoxide detectors. If you’ve ever seen a travel trailer go up in flames you know there’s only seconds to get out. 2. I have no clue how the additional fee of $170 on top of the daily rate was used but it wasn’t used to clean. Here’s the list; “questionable” stains on the couch, top of fridge not clean, curly hairs in the shower, old used bar of soap left over in the tub, spider webs in the corners, living room curtains not clean, years of dust from overhead vents, stove not cleaned from all the stuff that falls in the burners. 3. disrepair items – bathroom door missing trim and no stop for the latch. Blinds falling out of the wall and most everything else screwed in to the wall, US Flag torn and in tatters, doors falling apart, external window trim falling off. Thoroughly could not believe we spent $547 for two nights. The most ridiculously overpriced rental ever! As a retired Naval Officer who’s been around this world and in and out of hotels, apartments, condos, tents, etc….. I really mean “EVER”.
