Twin Harbors has a loving, family like community. Most residence are kind, friendly and helpful. I’d LOVE to rate it with 5 stars BUT unfortunately I can’t as the rules, regulations and enforcement of such are over the top. I understand the right to peace however as a ‘camp ground’ the right of enjoyment should be taken into consideration. It’s the only place I have ever been which will utilize adult size punishments for kids as young as toddlers, it’s the only place I have been which will issue fines (tickets) for harmless rules broken at a greater cost than actual law enforcement issues for actual crimes committed which break laws that are considered harmful to the public. This truly needs to be corrected and evaluated as it causes not only owners hardship to otherwise a lower cost to living and or vacation expenses but punishes children whom are otherwise deemed by society as good kids. Id love to see changes made to better reflect the true atmosphere of the ones who reside within TH as it’s quite sad when the only chatter you ever hear among owners (even seniors) is how ticket this, fine that... in fear of enjoyment due to the hefty fines they could possibly face .... AGAIN KEEPING THINGS SAFE AND FAMILY FRIENDLY DEFINITELY A POSITIVE HOWEVER there is a boundary that should be respected.
