I take lessons at green acres and I love it so much, yes they are strict but they are very friendly and very helpful. I love the animals there especially the horses. The Horses are well taken care of and they are also super well behaved, they may have their moments sometimes but that doesn’t mean they are bad horses. I’m very greatful that I get to ride at this barn and I’m also greatful for the way I’m tot how to ride. They also take things very seriously in your riding and not just riding caring for the horses. With that being said Green acres is the perfect place for you and your child.

My 5 year old daughter has been taking horse riding lessons here since April. The staff and her instructors are amazing!! The ranch is HUGE and the horses are taken well care of and loved. The other animals on the property like the sheep, dogs, goat, and cows are nice to pet after the lesson.

Please arrive early! They are strict about the time. You have to be there at 8:30 for the 9 ride. A couple showed up at exactly 9 and she wouldn't let them ride. They say it's to fill out all the forms, but it really doesn't take that long. Also I don't see why they don't have it available for you to please fill out online beforehand to save time. Also very strict about the shoe policy. You need closed toe shoes. Luckily we arrived early enough so my husband ran to Walmart and bought himself some shoes. Otherwise he wouldn't have been able to ride. Though technically it was kind of silly the shoes he had were soft they wouldn't have been any more protective than the sandals he was wearing before him, but rules are rules. It's a ride around the ranch, not extremely Scenic in my view.
