The food is excellent however, every time I have come here it has been a 2 hour ordeal. Most recently, my party of 3 dined in and had 1 cocktail and 1 entree a piece and, after being seated at 7:30, we did not receive our food until after 8:30. We waited another 30+ minutes for our check and by 9:15 all I wanted was to go home asap. It's unfortunate because I would have loved another delicious cocktail or incredible dessert but we were never given the option. And I dare say we'd have been there until morning. I wish I could leave more stars for food and atmosphere but being held hostage by a restaurant was not what I had planned for the night.

We went here for the first time last week and were really impressed! The atmosphere and decor was lovely. The hostess was so friendly and welcoming. Our server was excellent at explaining some of their dishes- which were all tasty and just a bit different and really excellent - making it more exciting for us to try some fabulous new dinner selections. All the people involved in the serving and presentation of our dinner were excellent and professional. As a surprise and quite special treat, the chef came out after our main course to talk with us! The whole experience was wonderful and quite memorable! We highly recommend this lovely restaurant! We will definitely be back!

For the longest time, I thought this was a bakery or sweet shop. After enjoying dinner here with a girlfriend I was kicking myself for taking so long to sit down at a table and see what Treat has to offer. The food is simply divine, the atmosphere is intimate and the employees are always so joyful. Hands down one of the best spots to eat in Morganton!

After exploring Morganton and the surrounding area through the day with breweries and wineries we were in need of a great meal. We saw this place online and we’re able to find parking not far from the building. The atmosphere was quite pleasant and unique. The decor and lighting really made it stand out compared to others in the area as fun and eclectic. The drink menu had a fair selection and our drinks were tasty. The Bees knees which consisted of gin, basil, rosemary and fresh lemon and also the Frankie Silver vodka, cava, fresh berries were fantastic. We had bread service with the herbed butter which again was perfect and then also ordered our meal. The meal and all the food we had although fantastic took quite a long time. We had started our dinning at 7 and not everyone from our party got their food til past 8:20. What we had was superb the chicken parmesan, salmon pesto, and the filet but the dinner service was very slow and unorganized. If there’s a big party the smaller parties tend to have to wait and I saw other tables with guests in that same boat. Bottom line food was great and elevated for the area by far but the food service needs a bump. Cheers!

Tables are generally spaced apart and some are separated by partisians. Entire staff was properly masked while we were there.

How expensive is this place
