It is better to take the Yellow Line (towards Greenbelt) and change in L'Enfant Plaza to the Green Line (towards Branch Avenue)

The Waterfront Station only has one exit. When you come out of the station, walk west on M Street.

What is the nearest green line to me from new Carrollton md? how much is the cost to waterfront in dc? And how long is the ride?

Take the Orange Line from New Carrollton to L'Enfant Plaza, then take the Green Line to Waterfront. $4.40 peak, $3.60 off-peak. Or you can also just walk to Waterfront from L'Enfant if the wait for the transfer is too long.
