If i could give less than one star i would. I'm totally appalled by the mid city senior center. It's nothing like a senior center. I may have it wrong.. I've been wrong on occasions. I am a senior, a Viet Nam era veteran and I'm homeless. I went to your "center" and was told that a meal would cost me $2. If I had 2 bucks I'd probably go to McDonald's. I of course left hungry. So you say you feed the hungry well you didn't feed me. I'm very angry about it if you can't tell.

A true modern day miracle.I recently became fully disabled from having a very successful career and the mental adjustment has been hard BUT one of the silver lining's is Meal On Wheels. They show up daily with a warm smile, caring voices and a perfectly planned meal for that day. They also add very kind treats, cards and gestures that give me such a warm happy feeling. May God bless everyone at Meals on Wheels.

When I delivered MOW in Texas, the only qualification was that a person is over a certain age, or handicapped and unable to go out.
It is best visit their website or them call to verify your qualification.
So sorry about that, we have internet issues.. Yes, if the box is big enough for meals to sit in with ice pack, we can definitely use them! We are open M-F 8 to 3pm. We are currently at Southside Community Center 3151 E 27th until our roof is repaired. Thank you!
Hi Susan, the age is 60+, but there may be available resources for a disabled individual on a case by case basis. You may call our main line at 509-456-6597 and leave a message with details about this individuals circumstances and a care manager will call you back as soon as they are available.
