This is the worst company for customer service. I would not even give them a one star but I was forced to in order to post my review. In reality, I would rate the company a -5. I have called the company on multiple occasions to have my 1984 propane tank painted. The appointment is scheduled and no one shows up - this has happened three times. No one even calls to let me know that a service technician will not come to the house as scheduled. This is a rental tank that Amerigas is responsible to maintain and that is not happening. The propane tank looks terrible and I plan on changing my service to Ferrell gas when the propane tank is empty.

Twice in a row my delivery gets completely missed and we are about to run out of propane again. Last time I had another, company fill us up in the interim- delivery was several weeks late. There is no way to reach the local Amerigas office but the centralized location is not able to provide with anything valid. The only information they are able to provide is the same vague information I can find on the account portal, i.e. the past due delivery date. Next time I am taking my business elsewhere.

Amerigas provides the worst service. I could never get through when I had a question. Also, I recently called, March 2022, to get a quote on propane and they wanted to charge me $4.63 per gallon!!!! So, I called around and found a company that charged $2.19 to change over and then $2.59 moving forward. They also provided me with a larger tank. So I quickly switched and called to cancel my Amerigas account. When I spoke with the Amerigas lady she said their price for tank rental went from $70 dollars a year to now $150 dollars a year. On top of that they are charging me $149 dollars to come pick up their tank. You would think a company as large as Amerigas would be getting their propane at a low price and passing their savings onto their customers. I'm sure they are getting their propane at a good price but choosing to take advantage of their customers. I'm so glad I'm leaving Amerigas.

The customer service is terrible. I ran out of propane for my home, that is on a keep full service, two days ago. Propane runs my heat and my hot water, I was supposed to get a delivery yesterday, no call, no show, no propane. I called today, because still no propane, and all of a sudden am not authorized to speak on behalf of the account even though the recorded phone calls shows I was authorized. Two ladies out of the three people I Spokane with for customer service were helpful at least and tried to route me a delivery so we will see if I actually get it. Otherwise this is ridiculous service, to wait for a two plus days on a run out, "emergency" which they classify, should have been within twenty four hours, And still nothing over 48 hours later. I will not recommend this company to any of my customers or friends.
