This community is so lucky to have a library like this! It has an extensive selection of fiction, non-fiction, music, movies, and digital resources. The expansion a few years ago added wonderful reading spaces, a garden, and amazing meeting rooms. And where else can you go for free tutoring?? If you want a book they don't have, they'll either buy it for the collection if appropriate, or they'll get it for you from another library. It really is incredible that a community of this size has a library like this! I have been to libraries all over the country in cities much larger than ours, and the Sandpoint and Clark Fork libraries beat them all to heck! Not to mention the staff is friendly and helpful!

These days, I usually only get books that they offer for sale at the library. For such a large structure, the Sandpoint library has a very small selection of books for sale. I hope their monthly book sale offers a better selection. The clerk could use a personality.

The Sandpoint Library is such a great resource for the community! For the size of our town, I am shocked by the huge amount of resources the library offers. Thank you to all the Library staff that work so hard to keep things going.

I grew up on this library, and as a result was pretty spoiled. Years of travel and relocation have shown me just how incredible of an asset it is for a town this size. I’ve lived in higher population cities, university towns, and other small towns - this library is a heavyweight by comparison. So lucky to have it.

Hi Lara! We are so glad you reached out to us! We may be able to match you up with a volunteer via Zoom. The best way to get matched with a volunteer is to fill out the form on our website and we will contact you directly. https://ebonnerlibrary.org/index.php/student-enrollment Another option for you is our language learning website/app called Mango Languages. There is an option for learning English for Russian speakers. You'll need a library card to access it so if you don't have one, just stop in. Bring your driver's license as a photo ID. If it has your Sandpoint address on it, that's all you need to get your free card. While you're here, we can show you how to get started.
The library is open regular hours again.
They like donations of that nature yes.
It's because there are three branches including the Bookmobile. If you click on the location then you will see the hours. We also keep our hours for the Sandpoint and Clark Fork Libraries updated on Google and Bing search engines.
When you bring up the website, the first feature on the slides has election info. Just click on that. ebonnerlibrary.org.
Just go into the library and ask one of the employees to help you super simple when I did it
Yes. Free wifi is available whether you have a library card or not.
There are several apps that offer eBooks. The most popular is the Libby app. If you need help, please call the Tech Desk at 208-263-6930 ext 1251.
5? I really don't know.
It really depends on the app and device you are using. Please call the Tech Desk at 208-263-6930 ext 1251 and we'd be happy to help.
Yes. You can still get a library card with an out of state license. You will need to bring your photo ID and proof of residency. This can be a piece of mail, a housing agreement or a bill to prove residency in the library district.
