Beautiful mountain! We were surprised by is majestic vistas and landscapes. Tons of campsites, hiking trails, picnic areas etc. there’s a ski lift towards the top that we didn’t get to ride this time but would love to, it must be breathtaking. We stopped at the artisan mart as well and that was lovely, supposedly there are there through September (it’s July) and we went on a Sunday. There’s a lake as well that we wanted to see but you do have to pay $10 to get to it but it’s probably worth it! Next time we are coming prepared for a full day or even overnight. This was our recon trip.

This is a great place to get out of the heat and set the city from above. Every year I bring my family up here to see the snow at least once.

It is approx 10,000 ft from the ground label. I was in summer but it was still cold. The temperature was 54° F and the time was :00 p.m. and 23rd of May. At Tucson it was very hot make sure when you drive over here you have all the water snacks food and full tank of gas because over there you have no Supply. The area is beautiful you have space for parking and picnic.
