First of all the food was very good. I'm very picky about the different types of Asian food, and fine Spokane a desert for any kind of decent cuisine. In addition they were very careful and respectful of their customers with cleanliness, wearing masks, and generally doing everything that's so many of the really shoddy restaurants around Spokane don't do. An excellent place for food to go or to dine in, but people should be respectful and they are.

I've eaten here a few times over the years. The food doesn't exactly taste bad, but the quality is absolutely terrible and leaves you feeling dirty and full of self loathing. Noodles and veggies are overwhelmingly greasy with maybe a spoonful of frozen vegetable mix. The fried meats are pebbles inside a mound of breading, of which is then drizzled with a neon red corn syrup sauce. Egg roll is without a doubt from Costco. The people who like this stuff are likely drunk or stoned out of their gourd. This place may be an institution, but it's outgunned by the likes of places like panda express in terms of value and quality.

Best Chinese food in Spokane Wa. Been coming here for over 20 years. Family owned and operated.

Currently take-out only. In foyer you can smell and hear the food cooking. Pre-ordered Deluxe Chow Mein, and Tofu and Beef with Vegetables, both generously portioned and delicious. Food was ready in 20 minutes. At home I added Sriracha for extra heat and was pleased with the freshness of the stir-fried vegetables. When indoor seating is available I will gladly join in.

Drove by and saw the OPEN sign in the window a couple days ago. August 15 the 2020.
Take out only.
That's because all Chinese food has msg. It's literally in everything. Actually, any place in general can't honestly answer that because they all have msg in their food. Good luck to you and eating out.
I agree on food and price, dining area does leave ya guessing but usually only near the end of the day. They don't keep up with it as much as they should. I've never seen the kitchen either, ya got me wondering now too
They are very helpful with ordering. Very good with helping you get what you want. Considering the real possibility of a language barrier just have fun with it and enjoy the food. They have always been a family run establishment. Watched the kids grow up over the years. It's a slightly different type of ingredients in some of the dishes but awesome. I recommend the combination fried rice and the deluxe chow mein. When it's colder try the wor won ton soup. With or without noodles. It's a lot of soup with the noodles added but exceptional!
