This is truly a magical place inside and out. I was submerged in art, and it's history. The peaceful gardens were a renewal for the mind and soul. I will return often. Thank you OMAA.

Really lovely, small art museum. Fabulous coastal view from inside and from the sculpture gardens. Interesting permanent collection - the area has been an artist colony since early 1900s - plus donations from local collectors. Temporary exhibits were good, too.

I like visiting art museums so when I was in the area, I decided to check this one out. It's not all that large, but there were some intriguing art pieces inside the museum, but it's the sculpture garden that really caught my interest. I'd definitely recommend a stop in if you're nearby as the stroll through the garden to see the sculptures and since it's situated right by the ocean, well the view just might encourage the artist in you.

Museum's small size makes its collection of historically local artists easily viewed and enjoyed. The surrounding sculpture garden is lovely and interesting. A star feature is the architecture, especially the wall of window that gives a grand view of the rocks, sea, and surrounding wood frame houses.

If it's not high tide, there is a small beach 🏖️ area at the bottom. You may have to go by the house next door to get down to it safely.
Yes
Surrounding towns are Wells ME, York Me but the Museum is in Ogunquit. Nearest big city is probably Portsmouth NH
