I usually go to New England urgent care express or sadly to the emergency room at Maine medical center. But I decided to try for my first time going to AFC urgent Care. I have had a serious complex medical conditions. But I had a just a simple medical problem. The front staff is super kind and thoughtful. The RN's were awesome and understanding... I was treated with respect, kindness, and for the first time in a very long time I actually felt they listened, the Drs cared, thoughtful and wonderful... I will definitely be going back to AFC Urgent Care in south Portland..

I recently went here for a minor toenail/nailbed infection when my own doctor couldn't fit me in. The doctor cleaned and drained my toe nail and it healed within a day. There was almost no wait and it was very clean and modern inside. I was very impressed with my experience!

AFC has become my new primary! Unable to access an appointment with my primary doctor for over a week & feeling sicker than I can remember. I needed a doctor to listen to my lungs & prescribe an antibiotic. Little did I realize the changes that had taken place in health care delivery until I got really sick & couldn’t be seen. Appointments were being taken up primarily with “well visits” & chronically I’ll patients. Thank god for urgent care physician’s who still see sick people & care for them! A doctor listened to my lungs, prescribed me an antibiotic & I’ve begun to feel like a human being again. Looks like my new primary is the doctor at AFC because they actually see sick patients!

the service I received here was second to none. I am so impressed with every aspect of my visit. The provider was absolutely AMAZING, knowledgeable and figured out a long term issue that my normal PCP was unable to determine. I told her I was she was my full time PCP. I will recommend AFC to everyone. Thank you again.
