They did a very good job on my hair although it didn't stay in quite as long as i'd hope'd but it's a very good place to get your hair braided.

Sorry to say but this beauty salon has to be the worst experience ever. Bad service, the hairstyles and the price was a joke. The timing was ridiculous schedule our appointment at 10:00 and We arrive late like around 10:30 because of a wrong address but when We got there likely their wasn’t any client . she started doing my cousin hair ,both our was flat ironed the day before. So we went there to just get it styled. Her other client came and she left my cousin and went to do her other client hair. We didn’t mind waiting because we were a little late we respected her decision of finishing her clients hair. She kept us waiting around forever. Before she started my cousin hair we asked how much it was going to be just to confirm. Because on the phone she said it was around 55 for natural hair and extensions was going to be 75. She said I let you know after am done doing you guys hair. Mind me our our hair was already flat iron. All she did was just curled and added extensions.Guess how much she charged us $175 each for a the hair that flat iron and ready to be styled she nearly even brushed it . I swear I left this salon with a headache from the stress i had there.when I told her how come you told me different price when I called you and while I was here I showed you my hair and the style I wanted but She was very unfriendly and an awful atmosphere. And the way did my hair was so ugly I could have better myself. I wasted my money and my time, we were at the salon from 10:30-5 both of walked out with the ugliest style ever she played our hair as if she doing kids hair . I would never return to this salon even if they offered me a free hair service . She so desperate for customers and I see why.
Beginning to an End
I am new to Portland Oregon so I google african American hairdresser and her "Angela" place of business was first on the list... I was so excited to call and invest in a black business. She answered and set an appointment asap! 3pm the same day to be exact. I showed up 10 mins before because her original place of business was shut down so she moved to Sola Salons temporarily which is in Vancouver WA. Once I get here the doors are locked so u call her 3 times and texted her once. It was then she texted me back stating "On My Way"? I'm surprised cause we agreed on 3pm and its hot outside and I have the slightest idead where I am. Then she texts back right and says "Doing Consultation". I go on to say we could have scheduled a different date or time if you weren't gonna be available at this time, or an update of what was going on would have been great. She proceeds to call me then and says I was in the middle of a call and was not far from the place of business, but i see uou want to cancel.. I say no I was suggesting you could have rescheduled or responded since I've came out of my way to come over here. She rudely said no you said you want to cancel so... then hung up. Its sad cause when you move somewhere you pray you will meet nice people and you go out of your way to be respectful and when someone of your same color attempts to down talk and disrespect you its very discouraging. So im asking that everyone prays for Angela cause she deserves that if nothing else.

Ms. Angela is the best. She always is so thorough and takes extra care when doing my 4 year olds hair! So talented! Anything I ask she is quick to answer and deliver. She is our #1 hairstylist now!
