We absolutely love everything about the black bear! Both the riverside cabins and the rooms upstairs are perfect, the staff is beyond friendly, and full of suggestions for trail riding! Being right on the main trails system is perfect location! We stay here in the winter for snowmobiling, and spring/summer/fall for ATV riding and are never dissapointed! Good and drinks are amazing and by far the best in the area! Thanks black bear!

We had dinner twice here while staying in Colebrook. The staff offered a warm welcome and the waitresses we're good fun. Fresh stuffed halibut one night was excellent and prime rib the other night came rare as requested. Super dessert options if you save room.

Best burger I’ve had in a long time, came up to ride and found this amazing place on the trail. Michelle behind the bar… amazing service. Such a cool local place. Thank you, we will back!

Stopped here on a site seeing trip in mid-September. They allow us to eat on the deck with our sweet pup, Huxley. Lisa was our server, and is fantastic! Great knowledge of the menu. She provided great hospitality!
