I had to come on here to give CMP a 5 star reviews. Last month i got an outrageous bill in one of my rental units. After reading all the negative comments i thought for sure i was going to have to pay the bill. Well CMP pulled threw and helped me out with most of the bill. The only request that they had for helping os that i change a few things in the unit so that it wouldnt consume as much power. Wish i could give a shout out to the supervisor that called me from CMP. Thank you again especially in times like this where money stopped growing on trees.

You will lose power it will take over 12 hours to restore every time if not longer, they can care less about your power needs. However; they really want you're money

If I could give no stars that would be my preference. I work in customer service and understand the ways in which we as people want to be spoken to. I am disappointed in the way I was spoken to today by the customer service representative in regards to shutting off my power. They were aggressive, rude and demening. CMP already has a bad reputation to begin with so hiring people who are proficient and friendly may be a good start. I am really disappointed and don't like leaving negative reviews but going forward I would be much happier spending more money with another electric company per month then ever supporting CMP ever again. Your employees are the face of your company, and I dont want to deal with a service provider who doesnt care about setting a positive customer experience regardless of if they still need services provided from you.

CMP is very much stealing from its Customers but since they hold a virtual monopoly in Maine.... You only thing we can hope is the powers that be will go after them..... Never thought I'd say this but I wish the government would take them over

Not in your area
Always a good idea to cover any lines your working around. And have power company verify it's safe, or if any other precautions are needed.
the overnight outage was restored at 5:30AM on 3/19/19
One question; multiple answers. The two most plausible: 1) Vacant property with electrical service connected will still generate usage through appliances and electronics regardless of occupancy. 2) Inaccessible locations or other events that prevent a live meter reading can result in an estimated "reading" that is a monthly average. The next live reading would/should correct for an estimated reading.
