Extremely low lighting. The group I was with wondered into the Driftwood room and immediately thought it was closed, but as our eyes adjusted we could make out outlines of people sitting at tables. We were told by the waitress that we were to use the light from our cellphones to read the menu's. While we were in the process of trying to order we heard a very loud cracking sound. I looked over to my left and witnessed a guest who couldn't see where he was sitting, miss his seat and break a chair. That is how dark it is. The drinks were pretty decent, food choices were just alright. I doubt we will ever go back.

The cocktails were both classic and creative. The fries and their bacon aioli were enough to keep us satiated, and their absinthe looked like it was prepared and served traditionally. A nice hidden gem that everyone should seek out when you'd like to drink in a delightfully dark cave.

We have been going here for years. The new bar menu is good but spendy. Good drinks but it is so dark that we have to use our phones to read the menu! Please turn up the lights !!

I've never been here when it wasn't full. Though, it IS very small. They kept ordering the same post Covid as pre. That is to say good luck getting an order in unless you are lucky enough to get a table. You can not order through the hotel when you are a guest, so you are forced to fend for yourself. Last time it took over 45 minutes to order and receive an order of chicken skewers. Though, last time it took 25 minutes to find out they were out of skewers last time. They are decent. The hollandaise dipping sauce for the fries is very good. That said they were the only game in town at 930 unless you want to walk to the Pearl. If you have the time it is a decent bar, if not you are better off skipping it.
