Im not a fan of all the 4 wheelers but its a nice campground. The vault toilets were clean. Shamefully someone shot holes in one of the bathroom doors. The mens flush toilet was out of order. I didnt see the camp host once.(thats a good thing) Many of the sites are within a foot or two of the road. Thw creeka are running at high water from spring run off. Keep an eye on small children.

I'll be honest. For 30 plus years I have loved going to this place and I still do. Here's the problem. Maintenance and repairs are not happening. Last year I let the host know our picnic table was broken. It was my opinion it was on purpose from some previous camper. He claimed it was the snow. This year I got that same spot and now it's practically not even usable. The neighboring camping spot picnic table had two sides of it's picnic table broken too! What are the fee's we are all paying going towards? I have never seen so much damage at such a great campsite. When I was younger there was a grey haired pony tail camp host that was always fixing things. Now nothing gets fixed. Just my two cents.

It was an amazing campsite. The bathrooms were super clean and smelled great! Would recommend a stay. Beautiful sites and a field of flowers. The river that creek that runs by the camp site is peaceful.

Really nice campground, good sites that are relatively private. Bathrooms are well kept and don't smell bad. There are some good hikes to go one that are really pretty and stunning! Fees are average for a developed campground. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

There is also a little hike you can take that follows the cub river that leads to a spring that you can fill your water bottles up with
Yes, the group sites and the sites on the south loop are reserveable. The north loop are first come sites.
Is this still open as first come first serve after they close for the year? (I understand there is no water/garbage) But wondering if we could still use the camp spots?
