Wonderful views hard to put in words ! Just soak-in the nature and stay hydrated.
Outand About
It was closed as were all of the campgrounds in Dixie although that's not what the website indicated. Very disappointing to drive all that way to find closed gates. This campground is located below a steep hill within a sharp switchback so *when* it is open I suspect it would be very noisy with big truck traffic.

The campground has 19 sites (1 group & 3 double sites), 2 vault toilets, dumpsters but no water or electricity at 8400 feet right next to the heavily used UT 14 highway. Also no cell service. There is quite a bit of noise, but you get to have dinner and a show, watching the different vehicles. This is typically a stop over campground with most campers spending one night before continuing their adventure. I spent 10 days catching up with my friends that are the camp host and spend the holiday weekend. Clean campground, nice sites, but probably not everyone’s ideal spot.

Beautiful campground. Very nice sites. Vault toilets. Quiet time 10pm to 6am. Quiet campground. We are 34 foot fifth wheel. I would say that was largest unit to go in. Not for big rigs. We stayed site 13. There is road noise from Hwy 14, but quieted down 10pm. We wear ear plugs. With senior pass $9.50.
