Airplanes are very noisy and still flying over after 11:30pm I hear they may eventually stop, but then will start again at 6am The sites with electric are too close together and every other one has the hookup on the wrong side. The instructions for checking in say 2 different things, depending on which sign you read. One says pick your site and then come pay. The other says come to the office. There are lots of nicely spaced dry camping spots, including some pull throughs, but there's a sign saying not to go to that part of the campground if your rig is over 30 ft long. There several sites there for rigs over 30 ft.

Wish I could rate with a 2.5 star, because it wasn’t entirely a bad experience. Nice campground conveniently in Palmer. The road into and around the campground is narrow so be mindful of other vehicles. Some of the tent sites were quite small with the RV spots being stacked like sardines. Airport right across the street so be prepared to be woken up at 6/7 in the morning with airplanes taking off or landing till about 10/11 at night. Saw some pretty cool planes flying overhead. Main bathroom is only open from 8 am to 10 pm. Kept pretty clean with only one shower available. Other than that you will have to locate the other bathroom facility in the campground unless you have an RV. Nice place to stay and the kids enjoyed the playground access but likely will not reserve a site in the future.

Very small campsites, lots of trees shady. Not paved so I imagine if it was raining it would be very muddy. It Is next to the cemetery, if that matters too you.

Went to a birthday party there today. The gate was locked and no one would answer the phone to open it. The mom of the birthday party paid for the Pavilion and the bathrooms were closed too. We had to walk up to the park carrying all the stuff for the party.
