The Pita Pit

I was extremely disappointed during my last (and final) visit to Pita Pit. I ordered a particular Pita and received something totally different. The Pitas were poorly made and fell apart completely after the first few bites. Not only that but I was VERY sick that night which was more than likely food poisoning as my kiddos who also had a poorly made pita were sick as well. The employees were very nice but their professionalism and knowledge of making the food in general, was lacking. I think this particular location could benefit from improved employee training and maybe effective managerial oversight. Perhaps cleanliness of the food prep stations should also be properly observed. Honestly, I really struggled with giving this review even one star.

I’ve had some good experiences at pita pit, but that was before it changed management. They’ve always had pretty long wait times, but the food usually to make up for it. Not this time. Ordered ahead of time, got there just after it was supposed to be ready. It was not ready. I was told ten more minutes. 30 minutes later it was finally done. But I wasn’t upset until I opened my order and found barely any food in it. I ordered a quinoa bowl, and there was hardly anything in it. I also ordered avocado and there was none added. I wasted my entire lunch break waiting for the food, was still hungry, and had no time to get anything else to eat. Haven’t been this disappointed in a while.

I actually like this place, but apparently they will not honor a gift certificate (not expired) due to a change in management. Changing management does not absolve a business of their debts and obligations. Dishonest.

Cliffhanger321 Adventures (Cliffhanger321)

I love this place. We used to eat at the Pita Pit in Great Falls Montana all the time and were excited to find out one was opening in Fairbanks. The pitas were just as delicious as I remembered. I had the Aloha on white and it was great.
