A very rude lady came to me when I was at self-checkouts on 07/15 evening. She said loudly 'This is not the way you use it!". I manually key in the plu# which was clearly printed on the ticket. She cancelled mine and scanned exact same item with same weight. I totally don't get it! Self-checkouts exist because of time saving alternative to manned checkout lanes. After that, she even opened my shopping bag and check item quantity. 'Items are correct'- said by her. I feel uncomfortable with that. This is not a right way how safeway treats your local customer who has been lived here for 50 years.

My hope for our neighborhood Safeway location is a total remodel makeover. Our neighborhood and residents deserve a much store. The current Safeway location is outdated and unattractive. The parking lot is crammed because of the shopping center. The staff are consistently friendly and always helpful. I depend on this Safeway for my weekly groceries and this Safeway is so conveniently located near the freeway and Coyote Point.

Very clean environment and staff ready to help you when you need, with some really solid deals. However it's shockingly easy to overpay here, most especially with herbs and meat, and I recommend price checking with Trader Joe's and Costco before overpaying for something repeatedly. And use the app for deals - it's worth it. It's also worth mentioning that as an Asian I have experienced microaggressions at this location several times from both customers and staff.

Under one roof you can buy everything. Always I go there for my bakery stuff 😊. Staff is caring but not always. One staff was behaving very badly when I asked something. Overall good place 😉

Don"t work there. Haven't used film camera for sometime. Is this the type of film for very modern cameras like the one sold at Michael's craft store?
They have several still there but in San Mateo
