The Foundry has a nice selection of local craft beers to choose from. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. The food is great and didn’t take much time to come out. I enjoyed the General Tso’s Cauliflower and I appreciated that this unlike other places wasn’t breaded at all and had a kick to it. The poutine was unique in that it had spicy Italian sausage in the mix. It’s the best place to go before a concert at Stage AE. Anywhere else in the North Shore is too crowded or takes too long.

Recommend reserving a table. Food portion sizes were great! Food was delicious. Casual or dressy atmosphere depending on the occasion. Prices were good and you get a lot of food for the money. Best fried pickles I have had. Pork Belly app was good too! Had Lamb chops and NY strip. Food is locally sourced which is always nice! Not a chain restaurant.

Their pulled pork is tender, and mild, and I had mine with a bit of hot sauce. The pretzel roll it was served on was excellent. The cole slaw was a bit wet, and is just ok. The fried cauliflower is truly delicious. The romaine/kale caesar salad with fried chicken was good, but could have been dressed a bit more. The cheese on the salad was nicely shaved in big flakes. The walnuts on the caesar salad was an interesting choice of ingredient. The service was good, although our server didn’t bring us a water bottle as she did with the other tables, and we had to go inside to the bar to get water. The back patio seating, with riverfront view, was phenomenal. I would go back.

Given the name of this place, and the outward aspect, I expected bar food. And that's what I got, but it was really good bar food! My smashburger was excellent, my wife's salad with salmon was also really good. They were comfortably crowded but not overcrowded, even though there was a game going on, the service was good, the drinks were delicious. I was very pleasantly surprised overall!
