First I would like to be fair and not just give 1 star. Food is good although pricey. The reason for my less than perfect rating is because of the service. The middle aged brunette bartender that was working (Thursday evening) is very rude and opinionated. She acts like you are a guest in her house instead of a paying customer. She also is sneaky about what she charges you for, and if something is said that she disagrees with she makes it known and walks away mumbling under her breath I would assume things about you. Lastly the older blonde or white hair owner lady is stuck up. She sticks her nose up at you like you mean nothing. She owns a restaurant not a city.. Get a life lady.. I assume this is why the previously discussed bartender still has a job. Misery loves company. Place could be busier though and could be rows of people waiting at the bar but not here. Obviously I am not the only one to take notice but may be one of the few to speak up.

Fantastic meal. Jerk bone in pork chop with black beans and rice with andouille sausage(pictured). Came with soup so got the seafood chowder. Delicious as was my son's French onion soup. Whole experience reminded me of The Back Porch, a tad pricey but you certainly receive a memorable meal in return. The server, Bethany, was also a pleasure. Would highly recommend.

Had a fantastic lunch with friends and family! Had a seared tuna steak app and seafood soup. The interior is amazing, all tables were neat. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

An all around fantastic experience! I've lived in the East suburbs for 50 years and had never heard of this place. We were passing through Elizabeth today and happened upon it...and so glad we did! Complete upscale experience with zero drawbacks. Very nice atmosphere, and though we had no reservations, they were able to accommodate us immediately. The menu is expansive in its options and it was difficult to limit what we wished to try. I started with the jumbo lump crab on toast points followed with a cup of pepper jack cheese crab soup and my wife chose the Asian shrimp tacos. The appetizers and bar beverages were all delivered in very short order which is a refreshing change from what we generally experience elsewhere. We could easily have made a meal of the the appetizers alone as the portions were generous and the flavors were uniquely complimentary. I chose a handheld entrée in the form of a daily special burger featuring caramelized onions, mushrooms, and provolone. My wife chose the pecan cranberry salmon dinner. The burger was cooked exactly to order (medium rare) and was absolutely packed with flavor. My wife's salmon dinner was well plated and prepared with a delicious combination of diced pecans and berries in a rich heavy sauce. Our server, Ashley, was a brilliant ray of sunshine in an otherwise (usually) dismal industry. She was helpful, informative, thorough, and spot on with every aspect of our service. The food here is absolutely amazing and I wish I had known about it sooner. That said, we shall certainly be revisiting very soon!
