I joined about a month ago and I am really glad I did. For too long I haven’t made my health a priority. I jumped in with both feet and am enjoying working with my personal trainer, Alec

I spoke with someone on the phone today about classes, then after work went out to club to view, and get more info. I was very excited to join. I was told the first class free to try it, both by the employees and it was stated on the web site. Honestly, I don't really care about the first class being free, as I feel ready to commit to getting in shape. I spoke with a great coach, and viewed the facility and the beginning of one class. The only thing that turned me off is that when I confirmed I'd planned to come back on Thur, for my first (free) class I was told that I must first give them a credit card before my first free class. They said I wouldn't be charged, and I believe them. I was told that the credit card was for the heart monitor they loan you for your first class. The instructor had told me that I didn't have to own, or wear a heart monitor if I didn't want to in order to take the classes. I figured I'd start without one and as I got going would probably make the investment in a heart monitor if I felt I needed it. When I stated that the trainer had told me I didn't have to wear one, I was told that sometimes people walk out the door with the "loaner" heart monitor, and never come back, and if that happens, well the young teenage girl running the desk has to pay for it. I hope not! What horrible people to work for it that is their policy! It makes me irritated. I was about to sign up but now feel disappointed and. I thought I'd found the right place to do business with. Thinking it over now. Not sure I'll join. If you offer a free class - give it to people without any strings attached. And certainly don't hold a teenager responsible for people leaving with your heart monitors, that you insist you must use to take the first (free) class, or use that sympathy ploy story to explain why I need to give you my credit card. Why are all gyms business practices so shady?

They clean and sanitize everything in between workouts. Everyone working out is required to wear a mask. I feel safe considering COVID. The staff and coaches are amazing. No judgment mentality. Everyone is there to become the best versions of themselves. You don’t “already have to be in shape” to start. There are no yearly contracts. It is month to month. But the thing I enjoy the most are the workouts. I’ve tried working out on my own at home. I’ve tried gym memberships. Orangetheory tops them all. Orangetheory helps me to stay consistent. Seriously, if you’re thinking about trying it out, do it!
