Travelers beware! If you are sophisticated in any way, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. The ladies who work here are the only positive thing about this place. Quite frankly, I am shocked by these reviews. How can this place get such high reviews? Maybe if you have never had real southern style food, you won’t know the difference. The food is horrible! The grits are lumpy with no seasoning, the biscuits were a strange color, and the gravy was a disgusting brown watery pan gravy. It took almost an hour to be served too! Waffle House is a step up compared to this nasty food.

Nice atmosphere. Breakfast gravy were horrible. Looks and tastes like beef gravy. Biscuits were sad, dry almost burned squares. Like they were cut out of a sheet pan. Eggs were good.

This is a nice little quiet spot great food great service makes you feel at home. And it's at a reasonable price for the food I truly enjoyed my time there I strongly recommend the people come in this area stop in and Mom's she would definitely take care of it great staff
