Locally, the biggest inventory of fresh water supply. They do also carry some salt water stuff, but are limited. They have been increasing thier swimbait section which gets two thumbs up. They carry a lot of bass products, some trout and panfish, some salt water, clothing, boots, reels, rods, float tubes, reel accessories, live bait air pumps, livebait coolers and buckets, sunblock, bait scents, scales, catfish bait, I've seen electronics there, and live bait from worms to shiners and crawdads. I'm pretty sure I'm missing some items, but you just have to go check them out. They also provide servicing/repairs on rods and reels. If you fish and are local, I'm pretty sure you've heard of them or shopped here before. Best local shop for anyone who is looking to wet some lines and catch some fish. This does not reduce the 5 star rating, but recently they have some younger guys working in there that aren't really motivated or probably should not be in there. The shop gets pretty busy at times and they just stand around talking to one another or to friends who stop by while customers are waiting to check out or get live bait. And some of them lack experience of tying a tight bag when bagging live bait. This lets air out slowly and the life of the shiners decrease. To avoid rush hours in the morning, sometimes I like to buy shiners the night before or even for a road trip type of fishing. Sucks to wake up the next morning or arrive at the lake with a bunch of dead shiners.

Staff and customers helped me have a great day of fishing. Best shiners in the county. Just off highway 67.

So for a fishing shop, personally I'd rather buy stuff here than bass pro shops, way more selection in such a smaller area and they have plenty of staff that know local fisheries better than bass pro employees. Haven't bought much here but it's mostly bass oriented and has lots of selections especially for soft plastics. They also fishing reels in stock, compared to bass pro. Drove to bass pro and they didn't have ANY of the 5 reels I wanted in stock, this place actually has them. Also they sell live bait which is a plus. Finally they have custom spool and bearing upgrade kits from what I saw

Thank you for giving Hookup Baits the opportunity to partner with you in having the product in your store. Your staff is amazing, the store has everything a fisherman needs and the hours are great so customers can stop by to pick up what they need.

👍 yes
They will only buy newer models of reels, so they can resell them. They do not deal in vintage equipment.
