My boyfriend and I went to a performance by the organist Nicole Keller. She was amazing; there were two televisions on each side of the stage with close-ups of her hand and feet work. The architecture is absolutely gorgeous too…wow! We brought a picnic dinner and enjoyed the ambiance while we ate. I highly recommend this unique experience.

Everytime I visit SD I make the time on Sundays at 2:00 to enjoy the concert. On top of that, the park is fantastic.

This organ pavilion is one of my favorite parts about Balboa park. You should absolutely stop here whether it’s in use or not. Great place to bring a picnic

This pavilion is breathtaking and a beautiful place to walk around even when it’s not in use. When it is being used it makes the perfect space for lively outdoor mingling while taking in the crisp sounds of the performance. Family friendly, pet friendly, and you’ll often find street vender food in the courtyard.

There is an Easter sunrise service. The service is done by a different church each year. It is not sponsored by the city or by the Spreckels Organ Society.
You would have to contact a department in Balboa Park to see if it is possible to get a program?
No...
They open the organ to visitors after the free Sunday concerts. Those start at 2:00 and end around 3:00.
At any of Balboa Park's parking lots. There is one just down the hill from the Pavillion.
