Smaller than we expected, but incredibly knowledgeable docents. My 13 year old was fascinated. Great gift shop too. We drove down from Long Beach and found it well worth the trip.

Questions & Answers

Smaller dogs ok on the premises?

In the museum, only service dogs are allowed due to the fragil nature of the displays. During out outdoor events, well behaved dogs on leashes are always welcomed.

Excuse me, I have some possible meteorites, do you have the equipment to certify it?

Thank you for reaching out! We do not have the equipment to identify meteorites. Maybe www.meteoritetesting.org can help! Good luck.

I'm visiting Fallbrook's North County area. My friend is a new resident here. We wondered how all the boulders came to be deposited on the mountains surrounding De Luz and name of the NW mountain range.

I think the mountain you are talking about it Tenaja, which is flat on top because its an old volcano. Then most west is the Camp Pendleton Santa Margarita mountains. I'll leave the boulder explanation for a geologist. But if you could get a penny a pound for rocks those folks would be millionaires!!

Can you be open on Sunday
