Good course. Typical farm to golf layout. Good place to play.

Lakeside has been around a long time. It is basically a former farm field where they built some greens and planted a lot of pine trees to create a golf course. It is not particularly well designed. Nor are traps, to the extent they exist, and tees, maintained. Fairways are ok but the grass is long. Gets a good bit of play and they keep the greens soft. Problem is, a lot of unrepaired ball marks. There are grass less sections of some greens, and i was there a couple of weeks ago. Very small clubhouse.

Visited this course in September. We had an excellent time. The course was in great shape, except the tee boxes were not well manicured. Greens rolled true and fairways were wonderful to hit from. Well worth the money. Staff is very friendly.

always in great shape with beautiful greens!! friendly staff!! great all day golf deal! i travel 100+ miles regularly to play this course......and own #13! Tasty egg salad sammiches at the turn......... Lakeside Golf Course is a true hidden gem!
