Great place to go skateboarding. Never quite had the guts to drop into the giant halfpipe but was sooo tempted! Great courses for pretty much beginners all the way up to the expert vert skaters. Excellent weather at this location, its not too far from the ocean so skating here makes for an excellent day! Highly recommended!!

Great skatepark! I call it a ‘Country Club’ skatepark because it’s super clean, ramps are newer and there isn’t a scuzzy crowd hanging out in the parking lot doing …whatnot. That’s important for me, because I take my young son here, and I skate too. It’s nice to have a great time and not have to look at druggy alcohol types or tons of trash while you’re riding. It’s it’s off the Clairemont Drive, next to a school, so that makes it more safe too. There’s plenty of free parking in their nice big lot. The young men that work here are super helpful, kind and answer all your questions with professionalism and an upbeat attitude. I’ve been skating this park for 12 years off and on, and IMO it’s the best San Diego has to offer, I don’t go anywhere else because this park has everything you need: Huge street course, super cross ramp with 4 launches and whoops that all connect!, 8’ concrete bowl, 5’ mini ramp with spine. Vert ramp, and a basketball hoop. 5 Stars in my book. Thank you Krause Family Skatepark!

Amazing skate park. The kid had plenty of ramps and whatnot to scooter on. I can't wait to heal up and roller skate there.

11am-8pm at peak summer hours. 11-2 2-5 5-8pm session times. I work here, my name is Stephan .
The drop in it pritty big but after a while it will look smaller
Yes. The pool is 9' in the deep end and 6' on the other. Pool has traditional coping and tile.
Nonmembers: $12 per session +$6 for skatercross Members: $5per session +$2 for skatercross
Yeah but you have skateboarders and scooters and bikers there
2pm until dark. Have fun!
Yes you can rent skatbords, helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads I don’t recommend renting helmets they seem grouse
$15 for a 2 hour session. But trust me when I say, if your child enjoys it as much as mine, you'll wanna buy the monthly pass. It's worth it.
It's really simple to get into the park, you only need to sign yourself or person in or if it's your first time you have to make a form so that they'll remember you.
You do need a helmet and they do also rent them.
They have multiple free scooters at clairmont for anyone to use and I'm sure most likely they have free helmets but it's not that much to get a helmet and they either have them free there or for sale.
The parents have to sign a release form. They do not have to be present though after and there is supervision. They also have boards there if your son or daughter does not have one.
11 Am to 7 pm
Its is optional but you can rent ( borrow) them.
Not that I am aware of there are other bike shops in the area that might.
12$ for the park 6$ for skater cross. If your a member its 5 $ for the park and 2$ for skater cross. *per session session -Stephan Nelson (member Services at the skatepark)
I believe it's $30 for the year or $10 per visit....it's is a nice park. Check out the YMCA website for all the info😀😎
Supposed to open at 2. But not sure because of veterans day
I think only Saturday and Sunday. I could be wrong.
Ya a lot
Yes, at a minimum a helmet is required.
Yes!
I think open until 2pm, 2-8pm are the summer sessions
All non motor bikes are allowed 😉
Non members it is double the price, meaning a full day would cost $28 (get a membership). For a member, all access for the day is $14 and each session is $5 for the main park and an additional $2 for skatercross. The sessions run from 11-3 then from 3 to closing
2-7 pm
Yes we are open 11-5 today
Yes my boy is on his way at 11
I've never heard of a time limit here. As stated in previous post, $10 (+$5 for skatercross access). Membership (1 year, $40, i think) daily prices prices are half - $5 (+$2 for skatercross access). So, if you go regularly, it does save us money. Staff is awesome, by the way!
1.I do not work here 2.Yes the skatepark is open today.
just go bro
Usually they'll tell you how long it lasts on the waiver. If there's no date, you'll have to give them a call during business hours.
