I live closer to the New Albany one but refuse to go there after experiencing the above and beyond service I received at the Westerville location. My order went in at 5:03 p.m. on 4/24/22. The store was very busy as usual. We love this place and their food is always top notch, except for this evening. Our food arrived for me at 5:43 p.m. We got an entire slab of ribs- which were not fully cooked and excessively tough. The fries we ordered were not given to us. The Lolo sandwich which my husband ate was great, as his entire slab of ribs were inedible. I tried to call and speak with management three times but since they were so busy, no one came to the phone. Now we spent $55.13 for our weekly City BBQ meal to have absolutely no ribs to eat due to their tough undercooked state. I would have rather spoke to the kind folks there but they were super busy. This is the very first time we have had this happen-normally they are A1!!

Some of the best fried pickles in town. Last night the hubs and I went to City Barbecue and the staff really made us feel welcome and valued. We were there around 7 and the place wasn't crowded when we first arrived. Everything was clean. We split the fried pickle basket and the city sampler. The meats were so delish and the green beans are my personal favorites. The fries were perfect. The pulled pork was a little fatty but that is not their fault, it was deep in the meat.

Food was pretty good. The service was fast and quick. The staff was kind, courteous, friendly, and professional. I will go back again if I get the chance.
