Super friendly staff, equipment was nice enough for rentals, good recommendations on the path to take, and had a wonderful time. For the kayaking experience - The water was pretty calm and the wind wasn’t too bad, though returning from the observatory was a bit of a workout with the wind. The water was a bit murky and nowhere to really hop in and cool off (the ground was very sludgy, about knee deep). All of that aside it was an awesome time. We took 4 hours and went down to the red trail, through to the observatory, and then returned. We did not rush and took plenty of pictures of wildlife; 4 hours was perfect.

Enjoyed my experience, took about an hour and some change I think to follow green and white trail in a circle, passing through the open lake 2 times. Would like to get more than an hour to explore the area to the north as it's a pretty good size area to check out

Great place to go kayaking You can rent or bring your own On arrival I found nothing but Smiling faces Affordable prices Incredible views on the canals and on the Bay. Manatees fish crabs squid birds thought out the way. I recommend it. Bring your hat and sun protection.

The place is great, lots of parking, everyone is very helpful. Prices are reasonable. Some trails need upkeep, they are over grown and difficult to navigate with the kayak oars. The trails are not well marked at the entry points. I used my phone to guide me. But the reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the water quality. Storm water drains into the water ways and in many areas there is oil and gunk on the water surface. Disgusting. My daughter got an allergic reaction on her legs due to the water spraying on her while using the oars.

No they have plenty of kayaks.
I know that they stop taking orders for rentals in at 3:50 because they stop the kayaking at 5. I don't know if it's just for rentals
Yes. There is a boat ramp for launching kayaks/canoes with parking near by.
Kayaks are single or double meaning one or two people, respectively. You would be 2 kayaks.
