*Updating rating - Julie the owner called me and was very apologetic. She also told me they would be replacing some of their fleet this offseason. Julie is a good business owner and she "made it right". Original Post "be aware" review of the rental equipment at Hayden Lake Marina. We have rented a few times from Hayden Lake Marina (even recommended them to friends/family) however the last rental in August 2021 was a disappointment. The Mastercraft we rented (the red X15) had significantly deteriorated since our last use in 2020. Gauge's were not accurate or not working (including depth, manual speedometer and fuel reading). Steering pulled to the left dramatically, multiple holes in the upholstery and duck tape to fix the external heaters on the baseboard. The three person tube needs to be replaced. For $650 a day it's important to know what you are getting and the product fell short of our expectations.

Great views, except the bartender never smiled once. Seem like she hated her job.Made it a bad experience. Too crowded, not enough food options. This girl had a little sparrow eating bread crumbs right out of her hand. Too cute.

This review is for the boat rental side of this business. I'm pretty disappointed in the rental. We chose a pontoon boat and had it delivered, so we had it for 24 hrs. They said they would be there around 10, and were there early at 9 which was great. The delivery boy stated it doesn't turn well to the left, well it didn't turn at all, the steering wheel needed cranked so hard ot gave you blisters when driving it all day. We also noticed the table for the main seat was completely stripped on most screws holding it in, they didn't even know this was an issue. We ended up taking it off mid day so we didn't break it. As he was showing us the boat he opened up the cooler and it had old, musty water and one of the seat covers in it. We went to the marina later in the day to fill up, and 3/4 of a tank was around 100 bucks, all fine. But when they picked it up it had a half tank and I was charged 122 dollars for the final fill, after I had been told it was the same price per gallon. I know it doesn't take a 1/4 tank to drive it across the lake because he delivered it still on full. Also they decided to pick it up around 7 am, while we were out fishing. Oh and don't let me forget the radio that pushed out of the dash with the first button press and never worked after that. There was no apologies from delivery on this, I won't rent from hayden lake marina again.
