Ordered the 8oz Zabuton rare+. It was a very flavorful cut with a nice burnt crust. However, the bartender lead me to belive it was a filet. I think it is a wayagu strip, not near tender enough to be a wayagu filet. The oinon soup is very good and the bartender is an excellent mixologist.

Best steak house I've ever been. Too. I don't know how Churchulls is rated higher. The steak was so soft I could cut with a fork eight amount of char. The dessert. I've never felt so good

I recently took my wife out here for her birthday. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. The restaurant was cold enough that I had to put on my coat. This I can let go but the food was very expensive and we expected top notch preparation and taste. The waiter brought our steaks out and asked us to cut into them, as if she knew they would not be cooked correctly. They were not. We sent back the steaks, they cooled new ones for us and the meat was still rare and raw (they were ordered medium). I expected too much in believing that a nice place like this should be able to prepare steak correctly every time. Used to love Spencers but probably will not go back. I feel a little bad leaving this review but someone has to put a foot down. The pandemic is not an excuse for overpriced badly prepared food. What gives?!

What an amazing meal. From the drinks to the phenomenal steak, every aspect of our evening was great. One of the most tender steaks and perfectly cooked. Could have cut it with my fork. Was very flavorful and will be back next time I’m in town!
