Nice overall campground, however it lacked some facilities like a shower and the host was not on duty. Although the location is pretty close to the ocean, it was not possible to quickly visit it as it was too far to walk there. Fun location though if you would want to go and ride a dune buggy.

Bring back your previous hosts they cared about the campground & kept it clean. We come here every year for the great dunes access. Not after this year, Camp host doesn't help make this place enjoyable anymore. No one checks to make sure the site is ready for you, reserved posts arent accurate or updated, its like a free for all! Bathrooms had no soap all week, the floors looked like this all week, one toilet was plugged for 2 days. On day 3 they got off their butt long enough to put a sign on the door about Covid & being low staffed. We wont be back anymore.

Great place to stay at if you want to ride right out to the dunes and beach. Clean bathrooms.

State campground about 3 miles north of Spinreel... Potable water and dump station. There is a box there to make a donation to assists with costs to run the station...worth it!!

Website is reserve america. Look for campground you'd like. Spin reel is $20 a night, plus the website booking fee. That was $8 dollars. You can drive to the campground and ask the host if there is any available spots, but have backup plan if there is not.
