Popeyes food is really good however, their service is terrible. We went through the drive through, on 82nd in Portland, Oregon, because we didn’t want to go in as we had our 2 grand babies in the car. We ordered a 12 piece nugget meal and 1 chicken sandwich for which we had to pull to the parking lot for; it’s not like we ordered a giant family meal. We had to leave their property, drive around the block for a 12 piece nugget meal and sandwich; okay. Then they deliver to the parking lot the sandwich and nuggets, no drink and no potatoes. We wait! No one comes to deliver these items. I have to go into their store to retrieve what I paid for. I walk in and I’m ignored, I’m not greeted. When I finally tell the guy who took my ordered and delivered it to my car that I need my drink and potatoes, he disappears to the drivethru window and make no attempt to get my missing items. I have to raise a ruckus to get someone’s attention; then this lady Mona; come from the back, asks no questions and demands I apologize because their service is so bad and I raised my voice to get my items because I wanted to eat my food hot with my family. It was a ridiculous fiasco to retrieve my paid for items. Also, we were the only people in the drive thru and there was one other customer in the store; it was not busy. I’ll keep my money and make my chicken at home, no one needs stress like that. I’m looking at their reviews, they obviously don’t care.

The person who waited on me was very punctual and helpful. But throughout my dinner, there was this female employee who kept laughing and sharing her stories, and complaining, and worst of all, punctuated each phrase with the F-bomb....with customers in the counter area. If you want vibrant language and culture with your meal, this is the place to be. BTW, the chicken with red beans and rice were great, hence the generous two stars....

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced by a manager. I purchased a meal on 2/27/22 thru the drive thru. the server was ok- they were out of my requested item and upon arrival home I found the chicken to be hard and biscuit even harder.. I tried to reach someone by phone without success. The next day I brought the food back to show the manager and she was far from receptive- saying the food was a day old and I said that was how I received it. She became rude and uncooperative. I know help is hard to come by these days but service and uneatable food, mars the reputation of the franchise. I will personally never purchase a meal from this establishment again and recommend others think twice if they are looking for good service and good food.

Love the food, always tastes good and is fresh. My complaint is that they always give me the bare minimum for customer service. Including putting next to no strawberry sauce in a strawberry lemonade (which they charge for, btw), and not mixing it so its all on the bottom of the drink. Today they forgot the dipping sauce and and butter I asked for for my order, and when I went back to ask for it, they insisted that it was in the bag, and then only gave me 1 of the 3 items that were missing.
