Staff was short and rude, I'd understand if it was packed but there was only one booth and maybe 6 people at the bar. Walked out because of the rude waitstaff (hadnt ordered yet). As someone who has worked almost exclusively in the service industry I have the utmost patience and respect for others in the industry but the staff here this day was not cool....

A "must dive" if you're pre-sloshing for the Hawthorne Theatre! The most rad, down to earth and funky bar on the East Side... Not open late, but doesn't close early. The 4th oldest bar in Portland and well worth a visit.

Was exactly what I needed while on vacation! The owner and his dog were so nice. The regulars were very welcoming. The food was great and exactly what you’d expect from the other pictures online. The drinks were a heavy pour- great value! Would highly recommend and I’d definitely go again.
