I didn’t have a great first experience with childbirth in a different hospital. This time my doctor was at Mercy and I cannot say enough amazing things about the doctors, staff and nurses at Mercy. Not only were they there for me every step of the way reassuring me during the surgery, but afterwards the care was incredible. The lactation nurses went above and beyond to help me and during my 2.5 day stay spent about 8 hrs with me because my daughter was struggling to breastfeed the first two days. Thank you to every single one of them for being so amazing.

Dr. Warren along with Mercy Hospital saved my life. I was previously released from a hospital in San Diego that misdiagnosed me and did not see the hernia’s I suffered from. Dr. Warren repaired three. Mercy Hospital along with their entire staff from the front office, nurses and doctors were amazing , patient and explained everything in great detail. I felt confident from the beginning to the end. I would highly recommend both Dr. Warren and Mercy Hospital. I am happy I put my health in their hands.

Very kind staff, and they made sure I was comfortable for my stay. I was only there for maybe an hour, so not long, but throughout that they were very communicative and caring. They made sure I had everything I needed and knew everything I needed before I left, and made sure they got me out in a very timely manner while still making sure I didn't leave too soon for my health.

I gave birth to my son here almost 7 months ago. I was a first time, single mom. I arrived at the hospital, and told the first nurse who spoke with me I felt my baby was coming out now. She checked, said he was crowning, and this staff provided such outstanding service and made me feel so comfortable during my whole delivery. They were all so incredibly sweet, helpful, took any concerns and requests I had seriously, plus the view from the room overlooked Redding and the mountains, it was so pretty and calming. I could not have asked for a better birth experience, before, during and after.

It depends on why they are in isolation. Check with nurses station.
They have special blood drive days I believe
I believe only when available, when we had one of our children there my wife had a private room until the last hour or so we were there. They do their best to get you your own room so patients can rest.
I just called for this same question. No flowers or balloons in ICU.
If your sister has given the hospital permission to allow friends and relative to know she is there, then yes. It is up to the patient whether or not people are allowed to know they are in the hospital or not...
A walk in clinic will be substantially less. The ER can run into more than a thousand dollars depending on the tests needed. If the ER needs to be used the hospital does offer financial assistance if you qualify. Hope your friend feels better soon!
I believe the trauma clinic is by appointment only.
There is not a public pharmacy in the hospital.
Suggest a local Dr who takes Medicare or Medical. Or go to a local Therapy office for recommendations.
You have to log into their online portal. Login.dignityhealth.org. This has most of the results, some times you have to go in person if it's not on the portal.
Hi Trevor, Thank you for letting us know about your friend's predicament. Please send us a private message with his phone number, his name, and his wife's name so we can speak with him.
Hi Beverly, We would need a first and last name to connect you with that patient.
Leah, while there isn't an app available to help you navigate the route back to his room, our staff and volunteers are always more than willing to help. Please don't hesitate to ask someone for help in leading you to where he is. Thanks.
Nancy, if your loved one is experiencing a serious medical condition like a seizure, please don't hesitate to seek urgent care at our hospital. We provide care to all, regardless of insurance coverage. If you need to be connected with a specialist for a chronic condition, we would recommend starting with his primary care physician for suggestions on next steps. Please reach out if you have any further questions. Take care.
Hi Jack, At Mercy Medical Center Redding, we do accept FDA approved home tests that have been completed within 72 hours. Thank you!
Yes they do they have a gift shop
You will need to contact Shasta County Health and Human services to find out the availability.
Hi Justin, we are a medical facility. Billing is based on the services and medical procedures provided during a patients stay.
Check with the patient and or family to coordinate.
You're only allowed one visitor, once they leave they leave they're not allowed to reenter. Just had my daughter on June 3rd. Was extremely frustrated. Staff was very rude I'd recommend going to redbluff if possible.
Hi Stephanie, You can call 855.212.7239, they can help you find a service specific to your needs. Hope this helps, thank you!
You should call your insurance to see if a provider or facility is in or out of network. Usually there is a customer support number on the back of the card
Hi Tanya, I'm sorry to hear about your sister. Did she ask the dermatologist to refer her locally? Here is a link to the services we offer. https://www.dignityhealth.org/north-state
You should reach out and talk to a medical professional about this situation. Because it take you the truth I have no idea
They merged with another hospital. Catholic healthcare initiative.
It honestly depends on the unit the patient is on.
You leave it publicly. If you private message the complaint will vanish
Depends. Are you bleeding from a stab wound to your chest. Or do you have a hurt toe? People at hospitals are seen based on need not time in line.
If you are asking about cancer care they offer quite a bit, including radiation therapy, chemotherapy and support for those dealing with cancer
I don't understand your question. There are a lot of doctors at Mercy.
They have fax numbers for every department. Call and ask
You should contact Medicare. They can answer these questions for you. Mercy Medical Center is a Hospital.
Yes, I am sure that they will.
Russell, this is not the place to get this kind of question answered. You should contact the hospital directly.
I would call them
I would say that the vast majority of them are exceptional. It does help if you treat people the way you want to be treated, as always.
If your numbers are correct, that equals 3.6 per day.
They just want money, They could care less about you or your needs, You should avoid this place regardless of your medical needs.
Yes. They have small, fresh arrangements for sale.
That would is better answered if you contacted the hospital directly rather that asking here, the Google Maps Community
