Thomaston Place auctions is the ultimate auction house, where one will find the finest in antiques and artwork. The auctioneer & owner Kaja Veilleux keeps the flow of items moving along, with the bidding, with pertinent info for the offerings. What an experience to sit in a live auction.. it's an excellent way to spend one's time & perhaps pick up a little treasure to take home.. Highly recommend. Bueno

Excellent Auction House. Fast answer to the emails, all the problems with payment were easily resolved, perfect packaging and fast delivery with one of the best delivery companies in the country. So, my experience with this house is first class and I will recommended everybody to buy there. Thank you very much once again !! 10/10.

We purchased a sculpture of Buddha bust from Thomaston Place Auction Galleries and it is found to be a forged antique. Due to the verisimilitudinous forgery carried out on purpose, it has not been discovered immediately as a forged piece until a third party company was engaged to provide scientific authentication to this sculpture for its resale, after a while exhibiting in our gallery with extra care. We contacted with Thomaston Place Auction Galleries instantly, but they told us - 'If they had been contacted within the time period specified, a conversation about the concerns could have been had", which means that they might have been aware that the Buddha bust they sold us is a counterfeit, and they still represented it as a real antique with a specific time period stated as 'Ming' (a very old time can be dated back to 1368 to 1644 A.D.) in their product introduction. If we could have discovered the deception earlier, they would have dealt with this unfair trade practice. As an art auction house, selling forged pieces is highly unbearable and illegal! This is not only a significant misrepresentation, but also a serious deceit with intention, deliberately by Thomaston Place Auction Galleries.

Very disappointed!! I paid for items as soon as I recieved my invoice on Feb 11th. But did not recieve shipping details until feb 24th. I am totally blown away at the shipping cost, I did purchase pottery and expected it would be higher because of insurance but the total is 210.00 for shipping!!! I called and spoke with 3 people the 3rd person told me she is in charge, what a joke!!! I have never been more angry. I was told I am being charged for two hours of labor !! Two hours to package pottery !! And that they are charging me for two boxes and will not package them tother. When I spoke with the 3rd lady "in charge," she told me the items are not packed until the shipping is paid for, meaning 2hrs of hard labor to wrap pottery ???? Not only am I totally disappointed in this company, the "manger" has no people skills what so ever !!!! So I guess I will be driving 18hrs and pick merchandise up before I allow them to charge me two hours labor to box these items up..

They will do appraisals but I don't know about on line. You will have to call them. I would think it is hard to be accurate.
