For us, this has been the BEST military museum we’ve ever visited. The array of collection were incredible and in such abundance. The personal stories attach to each exhibit were so memorable and heartwarming. What truly made this for us is the special attention and the extensive knowledge of staff, who are volunteers. Coming to this museum was a wonderful treasure find that we included in our vacation itinerary. Million thanks to Lee and Peter for making our vacation worthwhile.

The museum does have gifts. There are a variety of shirts, books, and other items available for purchase. Many of the books have been signed by the author, some of whom are Vietnam POWs.

I have my father's Nov 1943-Nov 1944 Nautical yearbook of the USS Bunker Hill he served on in WWII, and some of the articles this carrier suffered through. Me and my family are from Waterville, Maine and would like to know if the museum would like it

I'm sure that they would! It would be best for you to call them as they don't necessarily monitor Google Maps questions. I would hate for them to miss out on this opportunity!

I was a Navy Corpsman in Vietnam. I have a Unit One medical bag that I would like to donate. Would you have any interest in this or know who might?

Yes. Please call them. They would live to add that to the museum.
