I am thrilled with the beauty and functionality of my new sturdi-built greenhouse! Mark and Monica were always willing to give advice and make sure we were satisfied even after we had some shipping damages. The quality and craftsmanship of the house is top notch and I was especially impressed with the instruction manual and care in making sure our carpenter could assemble the house correctly. I need the greenhouse currently to start all of the cut flowers and vegetables for my farm market, but know that it is my dream greenhouse and will last well into my retirement years when I can just “play” with my plants. It made my early spring work days my favorite place to be! Thank you Sturdibuilt! Kelli Morgan Union Springs, NY

This is one of the worst purchases in my entire life. If you are wealthy and want a "pretend" play greenhouse, these are great and look cute. If you want a greenhouse to grow anything inside of, look elsewhere. The cut tolerances were way off on my plexiglass thermal option, I ended up purchasing my own plexiglass and recutting several panels. The greenhouse leaks pretty bad after sealing everything 3+ times. I was told that "greenhouses breathe and I should expect some moisture". The door warped from having so much moisture come in from the panel above it. At the time of purchase (early pandemic), the manual was hard to understand and the YouTube videos for assembly were poor quality and uninformative. The shade cloth and automatic vent openers were totally inappropriate for my climate (they said they were tailored towards the area I live in). Luckily, a local tropical plant grower with a real greenhouse, pointed us to appropriate shade cloth. I contacted the automatic vent manufacturer in England and got the right ones for my climate. The fan I was sold is noisey and needed replacing. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me their product was NOT to be used in greenhouses! I spent a lot of money for a redwood greenhouse and was surprised to receive phillips head stainless screws for assembly. Torx head fasteners would have been preferable, phillips head screws strip out pretty easily. Overall, if you can afford to throw money away on a semi professional hobby structure, this is the company for you. They do look cute.... Edit ...it took me over a year to leave a bad review because I was so upset every time I looked in my backyard. The owner reached out to me about replacing the fan and door. I haven't even had time to discuss with my wife if we even want to deal with this company on any level. The owner is now saying I am unresponsive to his offer....after all this time, still easily the worst purchase of my life this far. The only thing that cost more was my house. Consider spending tens of thousands of dollars on something you might feel is the worst thing you ever bought. Do yourself a favor and look at several different companies before purchasing.

In 2007 our family purchased a beautiful home along the Willamette River in Oregon. One of the selling features was that in the back yard there was this beautiful custom built looking greenhouse. We assumed the original owners had it built along with the house. Most people who visited would comment on how perfect it fit into our landscape, and even one of our family friends who is a carpenter took tons if pictures of the greenhouse so that he could "copy" the style for one in his garden back in Idaho. It wasn't until recently we discovered thru Houzz and Pinterest that these greenhouses are made her locally. I've looked at the company website a little bit since finding this out, and they have many different styles and sizes. To wrap it up...we have been impressed. The greenhouse has been extremely functional for starting new seedlings and extending our growing season. Not only that, but it is a beautiful structure and is a conversational peace with friends when we are enjoying our back yard. Still somewhat surprised that you can basically buy these off a website. Such nice quality!

I had a great experience designing, ordering and receiving my Trillium Greenhouse. Rick at Sturdi-Built was helpful all along the way. I'd suggest if you're not a handy man hiring someone with some contractual experience to put up your structure. The instructions were helpful, but we still had our challenges. It took roughly three weekends with 2-3 people per weekend. But, none of us had put together anything like this. What really matters is my wife LOVES her new greenhouse and I'd state without hesitation we have the best greenhouse I've seen in middle Tennessee. I highly recommend Sturdi-Buit!! My experience with them was worth every penny. Thanks Rick and the Sturdi-Built team! Mike

Hello Jan. Not metal, only redwood - beautiful redwood that is strong and show a beautiful grain. On our website we have customer photos of greenhouses with wood benches and shelves.
