These people are classic bait and switch operators. In the middle of a heat wave the AC went out and when I called for an estimate I was quoted at $89 plus any parts needed. In five minutes the problem was diagnosed as a faulty capacitor (which costs less than $40 on Amazon). Another 5 minutes later the AC was fixed and I was billed a staggering $450 which is 300% MORE than a typical charge for replacement. Of course I didn’t know this at the time because I’m not an expert. When confronted with this the owner responded with complete indifference. Complete lack of ethics and customer service. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! **Update 7/22** I need to update this review for clarity in the hopes of protecting other consumers. The word-salad rebuttal from the owner doesn’t address any of my issues with this company. To keep it simple lets stick to the facts. I called and was quoted $89 plus parts. The part (capacitor) is incredibly inexpensive and the job took literally 5 minutes and was charged almost $500. How can you ethically justify that? The notion that you have repair vans stocked with inexpensive and frequently replaced parts enables you to price gouge in a heat wave? Let’s put this in perspective with an analogy. Imagine your windshield wipers are worn out on your car. (Roughly equivalent price to the capacitor). Would you feel happy with a technician charging $450 to replace your wipers in 5 minutes just because he had the correct size wiper in his van? And to be clear, I wasn’t provided an estimate before work began. I was simply billed $450 after the 5 minutes of work. The tech said something to the effect of “yeah, I should have given you this estimate beforehand but just sign here” on a tablet-based document without a price total.

We used Aire Serv after a friend mentioned they were getting their furnace replaced. I called and was met with polite responsive receptionists, who then set us up with a free estimate and sent Francisco to help us. He was wonderful. Very nice, knowledgeable, and to the point. He gave us a few options, explained the service we would receive when Chris would come to install it. He even made sure we got all the correct paperwork and made the process straight forward and easy. Installation day was very smooth. Chris showed up along with another serviceman and Francisco showed up to make sure everything was going smoothly and was close by if I had questions. They even installed the thermostat we bought from Home Depot for us. Overall, the service was excellent and it was an easy process.
