Brought my elderly father in to find a pair of comfortable shoes that would give him the support he needed. Karen(the manager we found out later) offered to help.us right away. After a little speaking with my father she went and grabbed several options. I was so impressed with her knowledge, often putting on a shoe and immediately taking it off again saying"nope that's not right". After many, many try ons, Karen and my dad agreed on a pair of sneakers and a pair of dressier shoes. Meanwhile me, my wife and my son found a pair of shoes we liked and instead of making us wait and collecting the sale for herself(they work on commission) she had one of the other salespeople help us out, as she had her handsfull with my father. We were just so impressed with the professionalism and care they took that I don't think i can shop anywhere else.

Fred helped us find the shoes we needed. He is very personable and seems to know feet legs and backs very well. He didn’t push us to buy more expensive shoes. He gave options and recommendations based on what worked for our needs. We have spent many hundreds if not thousands of dollars at Lamey Wellehan. We have never been disappointed. If your feet aren’t happy the rest of you will follow. Long after the pain of the cost of quality shoes has worn off you will still be comfortably wearing your quality shoes. Buy cheap shoes that are not going to last and be less comfortable will make your feet legs and back sad. And you will end up spending more in the long run, not to mention all the wasted time shopping. Go to a shoe store that has happy well trained employees and you won’t regret it. Fred was absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful! He warmly greeted my fiancé and I as we came in and asked if there was anything he could help us with. After he helped us find the right fit he showed us other products in the store that could help keep the shoes in great shape. He was very personal able and kind and we’ll definitely be back!

It was my first time in. Nice store. Great selection of shoes in my size. Vicki was helpful and knowledgeable. We will be back.
