Probably my favorite trail in Irvine! Its so beautiful here and peaceful. Although, there are always people here and can sometimes be a little busy for a hike.. other than that, there are lots of mountains with good incline. You can really work up a sweat. The scenery is very pretty, and the size of this place is huge. Can spend about half a day here.

Last visit here was during the summer where it was all dead. Now it's nice and green especially with the recent rain. Lake is not dried up and a few wildflowers here and there throughout the area. Trails with the inclines make for some nice views.

Good hike. There is alot of greens along the way. So it is nice and chill. Not super tough. Parking in $3

Great place for a walk or an easy hike. Several trails available. Facilities at the north and south ends. Come early...it can get very crowded.

It's coming into snake season so always best to obey leash requirements for dogs and stay on the marked trails.
Where is no need for a parking permit is you park at the bottom of the trail
Yes.
I've used a jogger stroller and it was fine but a standard stroller with small wheels wouldn't work on the trails with loose dirt/sand.
The full hike is around 4.6 miles. But you can totally go different routes that are shorter, and you can easily go like a mile in, check out the view, and come back. You don't have to do the full trail.
