The pictures attached to this park is VERY misleading. It is a 1/2 stone's throw walk to a nice wooded area for a picnic. Plenty of road noise. You cant walk on the earth mounds per signs.

Awesome place to close your eyes and imagine history being made in this very spot. Take a walk around, read the plaques, sit on a picnic table and enjoy the history.

A nice quiet spot very few people find. It has both historical markers on both the American Revolution and the American Civil War and when I was there even had a cannon. Nice little pathway. The only problem is unless you knew it was there it was unlikely you would be able to find it. I only realized it was there because I could see the historical markers from the road. Also I knew that during the Battle of Yorktown there was some action happening in Gloucester so it made sense there would be some markers on this side of the river. What I didn't know about was the American Civil War action. Learn something every day!

There's actually not much to this place it's very small just a few little Hills good for sledding in the snow which of course is rare... if you're in Gloucester Point it's a decent little place to chill a little get away from it all spot
