Good food and good vibes. We came to enjoy the live music. Listen to Last Bus To Mars band. I also tried the favorite sweet and spicy chicken. It did leave me wanting more sweetness and more spiciness. The chicken was nice and juicy. But definitely lacked some heat. Still good times.

Excellent atmosphere, fabulous food and dynamite service! First time dining here but definitely won't be my last. A perfect place for a nice lunch with only an hour. Plenty of time to eat, visit and get back to the office. Very enjoyable indeed 👌

Woohoo! It's great to find a local restaurant when you are hungry and somewhat lost and desperate for good food on a road trip. This place appear to be a popular local diner with plenty of patrons while we visited. This place provided awesome service and great food. Portions were too much and we took leftovers with us to hotel at out next stop on our trip. The staff here worked very hard and are very conscious of patron needs. it might have taken a while to get our bill, but food served hot and not too fast after salad, A mix up on the sides was recognized by our server and provided the correct side promptly. We couldn't find an interesting (non-chain) place to eat while be hungry and are happy we found this location a bit off our path. I've marked this restaurant for future visit when passing through Kansas City.

Absolutely love Southside. I have made my way through half the menu the past year. OMG, the burgers are the best in KC. Delicious nachos and wings. Great service and atmosphere. I love when they have live music on the weekends. We ordered pizza last weekend and it was excellent. I really like their homemade Thousand Island salad dressing so much I ordered a pint to go last week. The owners are always working and know everyone by their name. It’s like being at “Cheers” in Boston. All I can say is “GO THERE”!!!
