World Famous indeed! The staff is super friendly. But onto the food 😋 The chicken has a great spicy kick, but it's so juicy and tender once you bite into it! The sweet tea is a great taste here! Also the Mac n cheese is some REAL Mac n cheese. The apps were tried were the fried green tomatoes and fried okra, sooooooo good!!

We truly enjoyed our dining at Gus's...we ordered the fried green tomatoes & fried chicken, mac n cheese & collard greens. Everything was a plus! The waiter was informative and attentive. Our 3rd time at this establishment...we will return again!

I was told that a trip to Kansas City wasn't complete unless you make a stop to Gus's famous fried chicken. Now every one says their fried chicken is the best so I was super skeptical but I was already four dirty Mimosas in so I figured why not. I got the spicy wings with a side of Mac and Cheese with greens. We got it to go and it didn't take but about 7 minutes to fill our orders. The chicken was fresh, hot, crispy and seasoned. You could taste the spicy but it wasn't overly spicy. I think that I inhaled the chicken or someone else stole my pieces. I will admit! That I might have been a little tipsy and don't remember what the sides tasted like but the chicken was really good.

Maybe best fried chicken I've had. Hot but it tapers off just before being aggravating. Juicy and tender! Good baked beans and pecan pie was my favorite. But chess pie was good too. Really liked that chicken! Staff was very helpful and friendly.
