Iffy place to get a haircut during Covid, despite having my hair cut there for many years. Back in the end of May, when no salons were open -- for more than a 20 mile radius -- I ended up finally being able to get my haircut by driving all the way out to the Newberg Great Clips -- after not having it cut for 3 months -- by (then) a 20 year old, whom was very accommodating with the high end mask I was wearing at the time (and still am). When I walked in Wilsonville G.C., the much older red head -- with figuratively way more experience -- sat me down and told me that this same mask (pictured) wouldn't suffice and concluded I go outside, take it off and instead attach this sticky, square piece of paper to my face because my current mask wrapped around the edge of my neck line and would be an inconvenience to her (even though holding the mask for a minute in Newberg was not a problem). **When I was outside I should have just kept going** Once she got to cutting, she started buzzing my outer most hair, paired with a comb that was whacking my head at the same time and stroking my hair so fast with the comb that it was pulling on my long, straight, dark blonde hair with nearly every pass. Meanwhile, I'm trying to hold this paper onto my face, which is not covering me very well due to its design and that I had a couple of days of stubble. What would be the option for a man with a full beard? Go somewhere else? Not to mention that the openings were so large that I was focusing on preventing hair from getting into the sides, and into my mouth, while holding it on my face through the entire forgettable experience. Because of her demeanor, I figured she should've just stayed home that day (from what I sensed was going on). It's just one of those things that you can't really throw in the towel half way through and go with a different choice. :O/

My first time in this location! Tara was my stylist! Thank you for the great hair cut. I think she took off at least 6 inches or more. It was that time to get it chopped off. Showed her a picture and she pretty much gave me what I want but shorter than the picture as this is what I had asked for! The visit was awesome and we chatted away through the whole appointment time. It was nice as while here each stylist gave their full attention to the customers that they were working on.

Never in my life have I had this bad of a hair cut/experience. I’m 30. I have/had visible chunks of hair that are hanging down randomly throughout my hair. The right front portion had a chunk hanging down at least a half inch to an inch longer then the rest of it. Nothing is even. She shouldn’t be touching people’s hair if she doesn’t know how to cut, especially women’s hair. I want to cry it’s that terrible to me, I may not know much about hair but this is ridiculous. I definitely do not want to go back to have the same lady fix it. It’s already shorter than what I wanted. Pretty sure my fiancé could have done a better job blindfolded. If I wasn’t in a hurry, I would have never paid for this butchers job and never ever would have given her a decent tip.

Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.
