Beautiful place. Also where the police send their towns homeless, to keep them out of sight out of mind. Mind you the first of July, every cop in Bedford county will be writing felonies out for these people down on their luck camping or living out of their cars. We were harassed by the city cops, just waiting for my truck job to clear. Why did I choose to sleep in my vehicle? Stay in one of their motels you will understand then. My car was in it's parking alot at the big storage unit in town by sonic and I'd watch customers belongings walk across the parking lot being lifted from the storage..so I have expensive things from my trucking in my car I'm not letting the thief's walk off with my very sellable things. So I stayed with permission from storage with my car and belongings. City cops made me leave my car, and exit to this park. Sorry guys you need to do better. To all sleeping at this park please understand they've made y'all like fish in a barrel.. they've been waiting for a opportunity...

Great little place to fish or swim! Only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is that there's no walking trails

Nice little place to soak up running water vibrations and enjoy a kingfisher bird catching fish.

It's a great place to fish. I love just going and looking at the water. Quiet and peaceful sure some homeless live there but they don't usually bother you if you don't bother them have respect and pray 🙏 for people. If you can't help them don't hurt them.

I would not advise it, no facilities. Also, homeless people often camp in the area.
