The Mississippi Welcome Center & Rest Area is a good spot to take a break while traveling. There are a few picnic tables and the visitor center is closed, but the restrooms are still open on the side. There are a couple of vending machines, but nothing special.

The lady and the gentleman at this place was one of the friendliest people I've met. The place is very clean and welcoming. There is a lot to see for just a rest stop.

A fine welcome to a new state for us. Featuring picnic cathedrals! We enjoyed our packed lunch at one. I approve of the native beauty berry bush planting. Comfy bench swing, restrooms clean and well maintained. Some of the picnic tables have an individual parking spot and dedicated staircase. Info room not overwhelming, interesting display room furnished with antiques. Attendant most interested in our zip code.

One of the nicest rest area/welcome center stops we've seen. Quiet with lots of shade trees. Very clean inside and out. Lots of information about Mississippi inside to help if needed.
